Freeport Container Port Limited is a privately owned and operated port of Hutchison Port Holdings(HPH), the world's leading port investor, developer and operator with interests in 25 countries throughout Asia, the Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Americas. Today, HPH operates a total of 300 berths in 49 ports together with a number of transportation related service companies.

Freeport Container Port is located 65 miles from Florida, and is strategically located to serve as a major world container transshipment hub between the Eastern Gulf Coast of the United States, the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, and trade lanes to European, Mediterranean, the Far East, and Australian destinations.
